BY ROAD
The drive is approximately 4 ½ hours from Johannesburg and is on tarred main roads.

DIRECTIONS FROM JOHANNESBURG

• Take the N12/N4 from Johannesburg via Witbank to Middleburg.
• Turn left on the R540 towards Belfast.
• In the centre of town turn right to Dullstroom and Lydenburg.
• Take the R36 to Ohrigstad, through the Strijdom Tunnel to Hoedspruit.
• Turn right at the R40 to Klaserie / Bushbuck Ridge.
• For Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre continue on the R40 past the entrance to Kapama Game Reserve (Buffalo Camp) and Camp Jabulani.
• The entrance to the Centre (Cheetah Project) is reached approximately 10 km further on the left. Report at the gate and continue on the gravel road for 400 metres.

BY SCHEDULED CHARTER -
Utilising a 1900 Beechcraft aircraft

Air Travelmax operate a scheduled charter service between Lanseria Airport and Hoedspruit Airport.

Days: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

Departing Lanseria for Hedspruit at 13h30 on Wednesdays and Fridays / departing from Hoedspruit to return to Johannesburg at 15h00

Departing Lanseria for Hoedspruit at 13h00 on Sundays / departing from Hoedspruit to return to Johannesburg at 14h30.

Cost - 3 fare classes (Valid until December 2008)

Silver class : R 748.00 per person one way + R37.00 Tax
Gold Class : R 948.00 per person one way + R37.00 Tax
Platinum : R 1 098.00 per person one way + R 37 Tax

BY LUXURY TRAIN FROM/ TO JOHANNESBURG

The Premier Classe departs from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit every Thursday, returning from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg every Sunday.

The overnight trip between Johannesburg and Hoedspruit takes approximately 16 hours, departing Johannesburg and Hoedspruit in the afternoon and arriving the following morning refreshed at your end destination.

Please note that the intermediate stops are for operational purposes only and do not allow for excursions off the train.
